On May 16, 2022, it became known that the Prosecutor's Office of the Simferopol district of Crimea tried to give the relatives of the civil journalist of the Nefes initiative Elmaz Akimova a warning about the inadmissibility of violation of the law at a possible rally or picket on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from Crimea. It is noteworthy that the journalist has not lived in Crimea for a long time (at least 5 months).
