Before the court hearing on a preventive measure for civil journalist Asan Akhtemov, who cooperated with the Nefes information initiative, riot police officers cordoned off the perimeter of the court so that there was no opportunity to take a photo or video of the moment when Akhtemov was taken from the car into the court building. Subsequently, bailiffs prevented civil journalist Elmaz Akimova from entering the courthouse to participate in the trial as a listener.
