The Russian Ministry of Justice has added BBC Russian Service journalist Elizaveta Fokht to its register of “foreign agents.” The Ministry of Justice claims that she “disseminated inaccurate information about decisions made by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, as well as inaccurate information aimed at creating a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” and “spoke out against the special military operation in Ukraine.” In addition, according to the ministry, Fokht “participated in the dissemination of messages and materials of a foreign agent to an unlimited circle of persons.”
