Chechen authorities used administrative resources to pressure on Milashina after the publication of an interview on Ksenia Sobchak’s YouTube channel. The Telegram channel 1ADAT published a voice message sent to employees of an unnamed department in Chechnya. They were told to “support the head of the republic”, commenting that what was said in the interview was not true.
