On February 15, journalist Elena Celak was subjected to inappropriate and intimidating behavior by Mihail Vlah, the media relations officer and councilor to the Bashkan of Gagauzia. According to Celak, shortly before their video-recorded interaction, Vlah allegedly stated, "Elena, soon you will be gone!"
