The journalist Elchin Gasanzade contacted human rights organizations and the media and started that he is harassed in Mingecevir. «For already two days the head of housing office №4 of the city of Mingecevir comes to the owner of my rented apartment and demands to evict me - a so-called "radical opponent". The official threatened the owner of the apartment with problems for "sheltering the radical opponent" saying that he is advocating "against the statehood". There is also pressure on my wife’s parents. Also, the head of the housing office №5 puts pressure on owners of the 'chaykhana' (tea-house) where I am a regular visitor», - said Gasanzade. According to the journalist, the pressure on him comes from the authorities of the Mingecevir city.
