Journalist Elchin Gasanzade said about the pressure from the authorities of Mingecevir. “For two days in a row, the head of the housing and public utilities is coming to the owner of my rented apartment and asking to evict me, as he said a radical opposition”. Authorities threaten the apartment owner said that he would have problems because he is "sheltering a radical opposition figure"; therefore, he is against the "statehood." The same pressure was applied to my wife's parents. In Gasanzade's opinion, the pressure on him comes from the authorities of the Mingecevir, who wants journalist to move away. According to Gasanzade, three years ago, he faced similar threats and had to move first from the city of Sumgait and then from the village of Bina.
