During the pre-election campaign for the parliamentary elections, several journalists were attacked. Journalist Elchin Gasanzade was not allowed to film or do audio recordings during the meeting of deputy candidate Aydin Mirzazade with the voters. Gasanzade was taken to the police station with force. He was released an hour later.
