The Zhukovsky City Court of the Moscow Region fined Ela Znamenskaya, deputy editor-in-chief of Zhukovskiye Vesti weekly, RUB 30,000 for «discrediting» the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). She was punished for the YouTube stream «Your denunciation is very important for us». The report against the journalist was drawn up following an appeal to State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein by a «special military operation veteran». This was preceded by a conflict between Znamenskaya and Sergey Zhuravlev, a deputy of the Zhukovsky City Council from Just Russia.
