The photojournalist was detained by the security officials during a protest march of pensioners. She was taken to the police department for an «identity check», her photo equipment was confiscated and she was drawn up a report under Article 22.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus (violation of the law on mass media). Gordeeva was released a few hours later.
