The Central District Court arrested Ekaterina Biyak for two days under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (participation in an event that interfered with the traffic). The journalist was arrested on November 12, together with her colleague Boris Zhirnov, left overnight at the police station, fined RUB 10,000 under the same article, then immediately arrested again and drawn up a new report.
