The Russian Ministry of Justice has added journalist and film critic Ekaterina Barabash to its register of “foreign agents.” In addition to the standard accusations of spreading “fakes” about the policies of the Russian authorities and the Russian army, Barabash has been charged with collaborating with foreign media, most likely Radio France International. At the end of February, a criminal case was opened against Barabash for spreading fake news about the Russian army, and she was placed under house arrest.
