Egor Martinovich was detained on the night of 11 August in Minsk. OMON officers pulled him out of the car. Nothing was known about the fate of the journalist for more than a day and a half. Then the journalist was transferred to Zhodino prison, where 27 people were simultaneously held in a 12-person cell. During the arrest, he was beaten in the police department as well.
