The website EFFECT.UZ was suspended on April 18 at approximately 20:00. The reason for this was a critical article, “New Uzbekistan, Old Problems”. The article criticized the activity of the Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication. The site was closed for nearly four hours, and no organization has yet to comment on the reasons for the closure. As a consequence, EFFECT.UZ removed the article.
