On April 6, the former Mayor of Yerevan Hrachya Sargsyan and the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yerevan Metro Hayk Hovhannisyan filed a lawsuit against Editorial Office of Zhoghovurd LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction demanding refutation of the information defaming honor, dignity, and business reputation, and payment of monetary compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article published on March 30 «New details on the case of buses acquisition: what happened?». According to the article, there were corrupt schemes in the purchase of Chinese buses for Yerevan, in which the mentioned officials were involved. The lawsuit was accepted and is in the process of consideration.
