The administration of the VKontakte social network blocked the Echo of Moscow group at the demand of the Prosecutor General's Office for «purposeful and systematic posting of materials containing false information regarding the essence of the special military operation in Ukraine». The day before, the radio station had been disconnected from the airwaves, and its website was blocked for Russian users.
