The St. Petersburg City Court upheld the appeal of oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin in his lawsuit against publicist Viktor Shenderovich, Echo of Moscow, editor-in-chief of the radio station Alexey Venediktov, editor-in-chief of the website Vitaly Ruvinsky and Yevgeny Belogaev who had published a link to a program featuring Shenderovich in a group. The court increased the amount of compensation to Prigozhin from Echo of Moscow from 1 to 2 million rubles, and from Shenderovich from 100 thousand to 1.5 million rubles. Prigozhin filed a lawsuit because Shenderovich called him a «criminal» and a «murderer» in the program «Particular Opinion» on Echo of Moscow.
