The court of Babruisk district and the city of Babruisk sentenced the journalist of the independent regional media outlet Kommerchesky Kurier Dzmitry Suslau, detained the day before, to 15 days of administrative arrest under the article on dissemination of extremist materials (Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). The reason was an old commentary under the publication of the Internet resource, which was later declared «extremist» by the authorities. As Dzmitry later reported, he was kept in the punishment cell of Babruisk temporary detention centre for the whole period of his arrest.
