The Minsk City Court started to consider the criminal case against the sports blogger and author of the Telegram channel Silver Age Football of Belarus Dzmitry Selvestruk. He is accused of promoting «extremist activity» (Part 1 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). The article provides up to six years of imprisonment. The reasons for the charges are unknown. Judge Sviatlana Charapanova is in charge of the case. The detention of Selvestruk became known on May 11.
