Additional information:

TV journalist Dzmitry Luksha has been detained in a criminal case. It became known only on May 17, 2022. According to human rights activists, on March 11, the journalist’s flat in Minsk was searched and then he was detained. At first, he was accused under Article 369 of the Criminal Code (insulting a public officer), then Article 342 (mass riots) was added. Luksha had long worked for a state TV channel, but quit a few years ago, and since at least 2018 had been a freelance correspondent for the Kazakh TV channel Khabar 24 in Belarus. Presumably, the reason for the detention was a TV report titled «Belarus — party to the conflict in Ukraine?», which aired on March 6. This material has now been removed from the website of the Kazakh TV channel, but it has been preserved in the archive. It said that the Russian army had used Belarus to invade Ukraine, Western countries were imposing sanctions on Belarus, the rouble was falling and food prices in the country were rising.
