The law enforcers broke the door to the flat of journalist Dzmitry Kazakevich and searched it. For the break-in, they involved the Ministry of Emergency Situations officers who cut the metal door with a saw. After the search, the journalist’s flat was arrested. The paper sealing the flat reads: «Sealed. Arrested. Entry is forbidden. KGB officer Krasnov». A few days later, on May 20, on the air of the state TV channel ONT it was announced that a criminal case was opened against Dzmitry Kazakevich (among 104 people) for participation in the celebration of the Day of Will abroad on March 25. Dzmitry emphasises that he did not take part in the street procession in Warsaw, but covered the event for the media. No one lives in the flat, as in 2021, Dzmitry and his family had to leave Belarus due to persecution for professional activities.
