The Central District Court of Minsk has recognised as extremist informational material the page on the social network X belonging to Radio Svaboda journalist Dmitry Gurnevich. This is the account named Dżmitry Hurniević with the identifier x.com/humievic. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added the online resources to the “Republican List of Extremist Materials”. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
