In the morning, the police came to the apartment of Hanna Yakshtas and her husband Dzianis, who also works at the editorial office. As a result, they seized computer equipment, and the journalists were detained and taken to the district police department. They were accused of violating the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and held in the detention centre for three days until the trial. They had under-aged children at home. On October 5, the court found Dzianis Yakshtas guilty based on the police report and arrested him for 15 days.
