The police detained journalist when he was covering the protest action against results of the presidential elections in the centre of Babruysk. He was taken to the local police station where an administrative report on the violation of the law on mass events was drawn up to him. He was placed in the pre-trial detention centre for three days awaiting the trial. On 9 October, the court closed the case in the absence of the offence.
