The law enforcers detained the journalist of Vecherny Bobruisk Dzianis Nosau. His flat was searched and his smartphone was seized. The court of the Babruisk District and the city of Babruisk found Nosau guilty of «distribution of extremist materials» (Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest. Shortly after the arrest, the pro-government Telegram channel posted a forced «repentance» video: the journalist says on the police camera that he sent «extremist materials» to his acquaintances on Telegram and that after the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine he subscribed to «extremist channels» in order to keep abreast of events.
