A criminal case has been initiated against the mother of well-known Tajik blogger Dzhunaydullo Khudoyorov under the article «hooliganism». The Rasht district court held its first hearing on April 15, 2022. 66-years old Mavzhigul Garibova and her 34-years old daughter Valamat Khudoyorova are accused of causing bodily harm to a resident of Yashm village in the Rasht District. The defendants called the charges baseless and slanderous.
