The Arbitration Court of the Lipetsk Region is considering a lawsuit filed by individual entrepreneur Karina Smirnova against the media Donskiye Vesti for copyright infringement. The lawsuit was filed because of a photograph of a bus exploding in Voronezh. The photo was also published in the media, which bought it for RUB 90,000. Smirnova demands twice as much from Donskiye Vesti and another RUB 20,000 for the fact that the media did not specify the author of the photo.
