Dmitry [Zmitser] Salauiou was detained in his apartment in the morning; he informed the editorial office about the police visit. He was taken to the police department and held there for more than a day without food. The police department said to his wife and colleagues that Salauiou was not there. An administrative protocol on violation of legislation on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) was drawn up on the journalist. He was transferred to the temporary detention center until the trial. On September 25, judge Alena Litvina found the journalist guilty and sentenced him to 7 days of administrative arrest.
