In the Leningrad Region, law enforcement officers came to the place of residence of Dmitry Sukharev, the founder of the media Chronicle and author of Proekt, who left Russia. They threatened to search the apartment but did not wait for the ruling and left. The investigator wanted to specify when Sukharev emigrated — «before the war or after it». The journalist’s former mother-in-law and nieces live in the building. The visit of law enforcers was connected with the publication by Team 29 questions which the journalist was asked last year during interrogation in the Anti-Corruption Foundation case. After the interrogation, during which Sukharev and his lawyer refused to sign a non-disclosure undertaking, a check was initiated against the journalist under the article on the disclosure of preliminary investigation data (Article 310 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
