The Basmanny Court of Moscow has arrested in absentia for two months four associates of opposition politician Alexey Navalny - Maria Pevchikh, Dmitry Nizovtsev, Kira Yarmysh and Anna Biryukova. Dmitry Nizovtsev, host of the YouTube channel “Popular Politics,” is accused of participating in an extremist community (Part 2, Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) and of spreading “false information” about the Russian army (sub-paragraphs “b” and “d,” Part 2, Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code).
