The Golovinsky Court of Moscow fined Nikitin RUB 10,000 under the article on violation of the order of holding mass events. He was fined under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation, which provides responsibility for obstructing traffic. The correspondent was taken to the court in handcuffs, and his defence counsel was not allowed to visit him, neither in the police station, nor in the court building. But the hearing itself was not held: Nikitin was immediately given a decision on a fine.
