Muratov was attacked in a compartment of the Moscow-Samara train. Two attackers doused him with oil paint and acetone. One of them shouted: «Muratov, this is for our boys.» The journalist got a burned eye. The video of the attack appeared in the Telegram channel Union of Z Paratroopers. It was accompanied by threats against journalists who allegedly lie about the tragedy of Bucha and «do not notice how they our guys’ throats are cut». The post was soon deleted. The next day, a suspect in the attack on Muratov was detained. The creators of the Telegram channel Union of Z Paratroopers took responsibility for the attack.
