The journalist of Ratel.kz Dmitry Matveyev said that he was summoned to the police for interrogation. He was in the police station for about three hours. The investigators asked him questions about why he was at the protests and whether he had links to the Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan (an organisation banned in Kazakhstan), and then demanded that he provide them with video and photographs taken at the protests. The journalist refused.
