Kravchuk was detained by the security forces when he was covering the protest rally. He was taken to the District Department of Internal Affairs, where he was accused of participating in an unsanctioned event. He was arrested awaiting the trial. On November 2, the court, based on the police protocol, found Kravchuk guilty and fined him. Kravchuk was also declared a suspect in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order).
