The Pervomaisky District Police Department of Vitebsk officers searched the journalist's apartment under Article 188 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (libel). The case was brought against an unidentified person for libelling a police officer. At the moment of the search, Kazakievich was not at home. The law enforcers confiscated two cameras, two old computer system units, a white-red-white flag, and laptops that belonged to the journalist's wife and daughter.
