Ivanov was forcefully detained while covering a picket outside the General Prosecutor's Office building in defence of Indefinite Protest activists accused of vandalism. Ivanov was left in the police station for a night awaiting the trial. Next day the Tverskoy District Court arrested a journalist for eight days for disobedience to the demands of the policeman).
