The Tverskoy District Court arrested activist Dmitry Ivanov, the author of the Telegram channel Protest MSU, for 25 days. Ivanov was found guilty under the article on repeated violation of the order of holding an action (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The reason was a repost about the war in Ukraine, which he made from Alexey Navalny’s Telegram channel on March 4. Ivanov was detained the day before, on May 8, at the exit from the detention center, where he had been serving an arrest under the same article since April 29. Then, Ivanov was detained at the exit from the metro station.
