The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued an arrest warrant for the journalist and former TV presenter Dmitry Gubin. The precise grounds for the case against him have not been disclosed. In November 2023, the Ministry of Justice designated him a “foreign agent.” In 2024, a court in St Petersburg fined Gubin on three separate occasions, imposing a total penalty of 105,000 roubles (roughly €1,150 EUR) for failing to indicate his “foreign agent” status in his published work.
