Russian police have detained around 200 people, mostly opposition figures and municipal deputies including journalists at an event in Moscow. Participants from various regions in Russia had gathered to discuss election strategy at the forum organized by the United Democrats project. Freelance journalist Dmitry Gornostaev was among the detainees. Later he was released from the police department.
