Additional information:

Dmitry Fomintsev is a witness in a criminal case on insulting the feelings of believers (Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The reason for the case was last year’s publications in his Telegram channel Herod of the Urals, criticising Metropolitan Yevgeny (Kulberg) of Yekaterinburg and Verkhotursk. The editorial office of the media outlet Tochka News, which Fomintsev heads, was searched. The journalist himself was taken in handcuffs for interrogation. «This day I will never forget! Today, when I was leaving the apartment, law enforcers were waiting for me in a car! They carefully laid me face down in the snow, legs tucked in, hat on my face! Carefully lifted me up and handcuffed me! Then was the car, a search in the office with witnesses, then the investigator’s office!», — Fomintsev reported.
