On 4 June Kazakh blogger Dmitrii Shelkov was called into questioning as a witness to the office of criminal investigation of the west-Kazakhstan region. During the questioning, the prosecutor said that Dmitrii is being question regarding a Facebook post about the former president of Kazakhstan. She refused to reveal the charges behind the criminal case. The questioning was recorded. Dmitrii Shelkov lives in Ukraine and was visiting Uralsk for his mother’s funeral.
