Several editors of the Kaktus.media were summoned for interrogation to the Bishkek Pervomaisky District Prosecutor's Office as witnesses in a criminal case. According to the Kaktus.media founder Dina Maslova, the editorial staff signed a non-disclosure undertaking. Previously, the General Prosecutor's Office initiated a case under Article 407 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (propaganda of war, i.e. dissemination of views, ideas or appeals in any form to cause aggression of one country against another or unleash a military conflict) over an article published on the Kaktus.media website about the conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border which took place on January 27. The General Prosecutor's Office believes that the article contained «inaccurate information that the military personnel of the Kyrgyz Republic was the first to start shooting, thereby provoking the Republic of Tajikistan».
