The Tsentralny District Court of Minsk declared two publications on the website of the German newspaper Die Tageszeitung «extremist information materials». These are the article «Our Pushkin», which tells about the political prisoner Ales Pushkin, who died in prison, and the journalistic text «Brotherly People as The Expendables», in which the author considers whether the Belarusian military will take part in Russia’s war against Ukraine. Based on the court decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus included the references to these publications in the «Republican List of Extremist Materials». According to the Belarusian law, distribution and storage of materials declared extremist provides for administrative liability for both publishers and users.
