The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has included the German media company Deutsche Welle, in the register of media «foreign agents». The relevant entry appeared in a list posted on its website. The Ministry of Justice explained that the decision was made «based on documents received from the authorized government bodies». It was not specified which documents and which bodies were implied.
