The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has declared the German non-governmental organisation Dekoder-gGmbH, which publishes a project of the same name, «undesirable». Dekoder translates materials from independent Russian media outlets into German and articles from the German press into Russian. In a statement, the Prosecutor General’s Office said that the Dekoder website published «exclusively unsubstantiated articles of an accusatory nature regarding the policies of the Russian authorities».
