Journalist Devid Mamedov was attacked in Vladikavkaz. He was dragged into a car, searched and accused in drug distribution. The attackers are the members of a local “Cossak squad”. Later, they apologised to the journalist, and he took the statement from the police. The statement said that unknown people forced the journalist into the car, where they "searched his personal belongings, snatched the phone from his hands, checked the calls and messages". They also threatened Mamedov.
