On July 22, the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case on the fact of threats received by the journalist of the Formula TV channel David Chabashvili. The journalist received a video in which a user under the pseudonym David Kartveli threatened the journalist with violence: «It will be worse than July 5th». On July 5, 54 journalists were injured as a result of an attack by radical groups. The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under Article 151 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
