The correspondent of Current Time Dauren Khairgeldin and the cameraman were not allowed by the security guards to attend the public hearings on the lawsuit of several citizens against the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The participants of the process warned the secretary of the court session in advance about the presence of the film crew. The secretary of the court session, according to the correspondent, approached just at the moment when they were recording an interview with one of the plaintiffs before the beginning of the trial. She relayed through security that the journalists were not to be allowed in «until an order from management». Dauren Khairgeldin said that Current Time was the only media outlet that came to the court session on October 31.
