Police officers in the Moscow region came to the residence address of Darya Pak, the editor of Skat Media, who is currently outside Russia. In a conversation with her relatives, the police officer said that a criminal case had been initiated against the journalist, and he [police officer] was «told by Moscow-based authorities to come and work it out». He also mentioned the Vesna movement, calling it a «terrorist and extremist organization», although he «never understood what it does». On May 8, law enforcers searched the flat where Darya lived and seized all the equipment. The investigation was carried out in the case against the Vesna movement, which organized anti-war actions. The Investigative Committee accused the activists associated with Vesna, of setting up an NGO infringing on the rights of citizens (Article 239 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
