The court found the manager of TAM.BY (part of TUT.BY MEDIA LLC) Darya Danilava guilty under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (organization and preparation of actions grossly violating public order or active participation in them) and sentenced her to a year and four months in a general regime colony. The case was heard in the Moskovsky District Court of Minsk. Darya Danilava was detained on May 18, 2021, as part of a criminal case initiated against the news portal TUT.BY for tax evasion on a particularly large scale (Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). Danilava was released on April 25, 2022. Given the time spent in a pre-trial detention center, she was released in the courtroom.
